I will govern my personal actions while at camp to reflect the mission statement of TAF. I will promote a commitment to personal growth and leadership in the Taiwanese-American community. I also understand that TAF does not allow smoking, alcohol or non-prescription drugs.
I will promote TAF as a safe place for all campers where they can seek out their own personal beliefs. I will also encourage campers to challenge their limits and to grow as an individual. I will make an extended effort to help all campers feel comfortable and at ease. I will provide campers with the opportunity to be a vital part of a group that is positive, socially comfortable, emotionally satisfying, and mentally stimulating. I will treat people equally and with respect.
I will strive to maintain open lines of communication with fellow staff members, and if there is a problem between another staff member and myself, I will report to my program director and/or executive director for assistance.
I understand that TAF offers a wide variety of events and activities and that I may be asked to participate and assist in tasks that are not directly related to my staff position.
I agree to all these statements and understand that I will be held accountable to them.
